The day
One venue for everything, so once you’re in you can stay put.
Doors open
Come early if you can. There'll be something warm to drink while everyone arrives.
Ceremony
About forty minutes. Please be seated by ten to.
Drinks and photographs
Drinks inside, photographs out towards the links if the weather allows.
Dinner
Seated, four courses. Table plan goes up in the hall beforehand.
Music
A band first, then whatever the room wants until late.
Carriages
Taxis are easier if you book ahead.

About 25 minutes from the city centre and 15 from Dublin Airport. There are rooms at the resort itself — worth booking early.
What to wear
Formal, warm
Suits and long dresses. We’re on the coast in December, so bring a coat you don’t mind being photographed in.
There’s grass and sand between the buildings. Block heels fare better than stilettos.
